Career Coach
Hello!
I’m Steve Warner
Working as an executive growth coach with a focus on the Fintech sector I have over 20 years of experience leading international sales and revenue teams in B2B technology organisations.

Why choose Warner Coaching?
I set up Warner Coaching having witnessed the many benefits achieved by those organisations where coaching is a valued practice. I have seen the importance of early stage coaching for CEOs and C level executives over the course of my career. This has included 20 years leading international sales and revenue teams in B2B technology organisations and more recently as executive growth coach within the Fintech sector. Whole company transformations can come from unlocking an executive’s full potential with participation in joint coaching programmes.
Understanding the Fintech sector
My Fintech experience covers everything from global payments companies that have specific issues connected to sustainable revenue growth through to seed funded start-ups that need more extensive business support as well as coaching for their senior leadership. This work always begins with asking the right questions to build trust, to gain alignment and clarity on the issues for us to work on together as well as acting as an external sounding board for CEOs and their teams.
Training that is relevant worldwide
An important part of my own personal development has been the opportunity to have lived and worked in both the US and key developing markets across EMEA just at the time as these organisations were rapidly developing their online SaaS solutions.
Fully accredited and experienced coaching
It was important to me to have the right credentials as a coach to compliment many years of experience within corporates where I was informally coaching and mentoring my own teams. I am now a qualified executive coach accredited by the Academy of Executive Coaching where I studied for the AoEC Practitioner Diploma which is recognised by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
My Approach

My experience shows that the best results come from targeted training provided from the beginning of a new appointment.

A specialist coach who really understands your business is only a phone call away, and will help you with support as soon as you need it.

What we do to help Fintech CEOs achieve growth
CEOs face complex challenges and tough decisions.
To manage these and achieve growth for their organisation, many are seeking professional support from a qualified coach. However, according to recent statistics, only 32% of seed funded CEOs have access to professional coaching as opposed to larger growth stage Financial Services companies where this number doubles to 60%.
Our task is to support the CEOs, founders and their investors of these smaller businesses to close that gap and accelerate their performance, which is vital in the current economy.
Why do CEOs need executive coaching?
Newly appointed CEOs can find themselves in an unfamiliar working environment and may need help to develop their vision and strategy within this new context.
Leadership coaching programmes
Our coaching programs can do just that, helping improve leadership skills, increase emotional intelligence, expose blind spots, and develop effective communication and relationship-building abilities. It can also help with the management of stress and the maintenance of a healthy work-life balance.
- Executive coaching provides a safe and confidential space to reflect on strengths and weaknesses and to identify areas for improvement.
- It helps with the navigation of specific challenges such as managing transitions or leading a merger or acquisition.
- It helps to build effective executive teams, and manage conflicts and crises.
- It creates a bond between coach and client where both want to see leadership success.

Developing a coaching culture
At Warner Coaching we know that building that culture is more than just providing a diverse training programme. It takes a real commitment from everyone involved to shift values and change rules and behaviours. Creating the appropriate mindset throughout the company leadership means that coaching starts to become a key part of their new identity.
